Andalib Mahmud

Andalib Mahmud is the ANLP International Ambassador for Bangladesh. She is a Counselling Psychologist and certified NLP Trainer.
Andalib Mahmud has completed her M. Phil & MSc in Counseling Psychology from University of Dhaka and she is a certified trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). She also holds a diploma in Transactional Analysis and completed EMDR (Part 1 & 2) training. She has more than 10 years of experience working in different fields of mental health care. She started her professional life in community mental health. While working in the community mental health she finds that the models and techniques of NLP are very useful to develop interventions for community people. She developed NLP based modules for teachers, health workers, para counsellors, bare foot counsellors and psychosocial supporters of substance abuser and tuberculosis patients. She got opportunity to develop and provide psychological wellbeing sessions for Rohingya refugees. It was a milestone for her experience. She emerges her calibration skills with her knowledge to create a sustainable wellbeing program for the Rohingya refugees. She has experience working with trauma victims. In 2013, a twelve storied garments factory collapsed in Bangladesh. As a first-hand responder, she provided individual and group sessions to the trauma victims. During the time of COVID -19, she provided support to the first responders’ doctors, nurses, paramedics, medical representatives and health workers. She trained other psychologists, psychiatrists, and mental health professionals in NLP at home and abroad to ensure better services in mental health.
She developed NLP based psychological wellbeing intervention module for young adults. She designed four specific sessions for young adults for increasing multiple facts of psychological wellbeing. This module was scientifically measured by psychological tools to ensure the positive transformation of the young adults.
She provides individual and group sessions for client’s psychological wellbeing. And her mission is to develop skilled NLP community in mental health field.
